Ever since the World Health Organization released a report claiming that electro-magnetic field exposure can cause cancer, there’s been a flood of new products supposedly offering protection from EMF’s. Are these products legitimate or just a scam designed to play on people’s fears?  Ultimately, each consumer needs to make their own decision on if and what products to buy. Consulting a jury of one’s peers is often the best way to decide on whether or not to buy any product. The internet provides a great outlet for people to be honest about the quality of a product without bias, especially in a market as new as EMF Protection. One of the best way to decide is to do your own research on the products available.

We recommend that you start by going to Amazon.com and reading the customer reviews of only the highest rated products. If you search in Amazon’s Health and Personal Care section you will find over 50 products listed claiming to provide EMF protection.  However, if you look closely, most of them have only one or two reviews. Most likely these reviews are posted by someone at the company who makes the product and thus these reviews should be viewed with some skepticism. However, there are some products with more than 10 positive reviews. We recommend starting with these products first since they’ve been vetted by several consumers.

Another option is to Google search the specific company that makes the product you are interested in.  Why? Well, when you are dealing with a new market like EMF Protection, there are a lot of “start-up” companies out there looking to scam the consumer. It’s definitely better to go with a company that offers other tried and true products with positive customer reviews.  Most established companies with good reputations are not going to risk their credibility by offering ineffective EMF Protection products.

The bottom line is that when you are trying to avoid an EMF Protection Scam — you need to do your homework!
